I went back and forth about whether or not to create a New Year post. I don’t really celebrate the New Year, simply because it doesn’t make sense to me to have a holiday about an illusion aka time.

Either way, I did want to share that the main emotion I felt coming out of 2016 and going into 2017 was gratitude. I met a lot of new people during the past year (I’m referring to submissives, not my personal life), and I am thankful for the new and fascinating relationships that have occurred as a result of those connections. Meeting new people never bores me, their interest are so varied, and I am thankful for the mutual and intimate bonds we have created.

Also, I am feeling grateful for the longstanding relationships with submissives/friends that I’ve had for multiple years now. It has been fascinating for me to watch the relationships grow stronger, endure conflict, experience humor, and transform erotically over the years.

So, that’s it. I’m not feeling very wordy today except that I just wanted to say thank you for your generosity of time, energy, emotions, and materialistic things. I appreciate each and every person I see, even if we only meet once (though that rarely happens). I am thankful for the ongoing relationships and I anticipate the new ones that will arrive in 2017!
