I thought I would share something personal on my blog today. Usually I don’t add much to kinkencounters.com that isn’t relevant to BDSM, but today I finished a major accomplishment and I just have to share, and if you really think about it, being a Professional Dominatrix IS all about art, intuition, feeling, sharing, being, experiencing – which is A LOT like being an artist.

Today, I finished my very first mural!

It was a scary process, especially considering that I didn’t use a projector and did it all by hand (with measurements and yard sticks and string, of course.)

I was so nervous the first day I went in to start that I nearly had a panic attack and called upon a dear friend to help me with the outline. After that, I took off! It wasn’t until I had pushed through the fear of starting something new that I was able to really express myself in the work. I got lost in it. It felt amazing! The feeling I felt after all that creating was VERY similar to the feeling I get after a really intense session.

The only difference between completing the mural and finishing a session is that there is much more recognition with the mural and the magic isn’t  kept between two people in a dungeon.

Either way, the point of this post is to expose myself. I cannot expect people to come to me and share themselves if I do not share myself.
